To me, brilliant is making something that is new and unexpected, yet totally obvious once it’s been revealed.

My favorite brand is Etsy, because they managed to brand pure, unbrandable, authentic creativity.

The best advice I ever received is that a poor captain knows only an ill wind. (Don’t blame others when things go wrong.)

I think the Kardashians are totally fascinating, but only because people find them fascinating. How can that be? I love this mystery!

The most overused word in meetings today is operationalize. WHAT??!!??

At FUSE 2015, I can’t wait to meet everyone.

As of now, I’m totally over high-heeled sneakers.

I’m happiest when I’m trying to solve a challenging problem with lots of parts.

My playlist is beyond eclectic with weirdly disconnected variety.

I still hope to write a book, but I can’t decide if it’s a business book or a trashy novel. Knowing which might help…
